Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance-sales contract within fourteen days without giving any reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement, for example by e-mail. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you are not required to do so.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement that you used for the original transaction unless something else has been expressly agreed with you. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we expressly agree otherwise. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if that diminished value results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may be excluded for goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised. This is particularly relevant for individually configured hardware, custom provisioning, or devices prepared around customer-specific preload requirements.
